Figures of Speech is a topic that is neglected by most Biblical students.

There is a great reference book to begin to explore this field called Figures of Speech Used In the Bible, by E.W. Bullinger. It lists more than 220 individual figures with explanations and examples.

It is our purpose, in this section and in our writings, to endeavor to expand as well as to simplify the studies in this field.
